Ominous Day at the Seattle Space Needle

Ominous Day at the Seattle Space Needle

Yet we did not make it to the top of the Space Needle (due to high costs in comparison to benefits), we wondered about the surround area for a while. Walking around Seattle, we actually had really great weather for the northwest pacific coast. No rain = a great day. Good advice for future Seattle travelers — there is a monorail that runs from the Seattle Center (where the space needle, the Chihuly Gardens, science museum, etc are located) to Pine St. which is right by Pike’s Place Market and the Retail District. Although we walked one way, the monorail saved our feet on the way back for only $2.50.
