Madrid Barajas Airport

Madrid Barajas Airport

The Madrid Barajas Airport brings back so many memories, considering I have flown in or out of it at least 7 times in the past year and a half, if not more. I already began to feel at home in Spain just upon arrival in this airport.

This airport is also one of the busiest airports to travel through, as one of Europe’s top five busiest airports. Terminal 4, built in 2006, is one of the world’s largest terminals (pictured above). The interior architecture is supposed to give a stress-free beginning to travelers’ journeys. I believe the airport does a great job in this. Overall, this airport is well designed and easy to get around, plus there is free bus transportation between terminals.

Although the Madrid Barajas Airport may be one of the world’s largest and busiest, it is always a pleasure flying through.
